When I say I have the most amazing family and friends in the world I mean that. Too me they are all my family and always have been. My friends and I have never drifted apart like many friends do and I’m so glad we haven’t because they all are the absolute most bad ass people I know. This is Katie Chen Young

She is my girlfriend and is the most amazing girl ever and she means the world to me. To me, she is absolutely perfect and everything I ever wanted… She’s always nice to me, always knows how to make me smile and cheer up, we always have the best conversations with each other, we think very much the same, she has an amazing singing voice and is really good at the piano, she’s really intelligent, really funny, and is really the most beautiful girl in the world. I’ve never been so happy in my life to have somebody like her.

I love her so much and I’m so glad her and I are together. The only thing I could ever want to change about her is the distance we have between each other :)

Just a little bit about me and my musical background and tastes throughout the years.

It all started out in my sophomore year in high school, that is when I quit the school band and figured out that music was starting to have more of an impact on my life. I used it as motivation when I did sports, I used it as a stress reliever when school and life got tough, and I also started to listen to new kinds of music. I never really liked modern music as a kid since I really liked to listen to soundtrack music from movies and the only band I liked was Linkin Park (yea I was a weirdo). Then I got into rock music and eventually wanted to learn the guitar. I went through the all-rock-music-is-good phase, the only-this-kind-of-metal-is-good phase, and then I finally learned there is amazing music in every genre and that you just have to find it and look. So on I go with this musical journey trying to find my own unique sound……

Music has always been something that has gotten me through life and has created so many memories for me. I don’t know what I’de do without it. I have been playing the guitar for around four years and I don’t plan to ever stop. I’m trying to learn the piano and drums also and I really want to try out other exotic instruments from foreign countries. I love to write, play, and listen to so many different types of music and I am continuing to expand my tastes.
